WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia shared a heartbreaking news earlier today. She recently experienced a personal loss and has sent out a public service announcement.
Lilian Garcia returned to WWE on the October 21 episode of RAW to replace Samantha Irvin as the full-time ring announcer of the red brand.
The 58-year-old veteran has since been very connected with her fans. Last night, she took to her official Instagram handle to announce that a friend of hers passed away due to his struggle with addiction.
In a lengthy Instagram post, she asked her fans to seek help if anyone is suffering from drug addiction.

We at Sportskeeda extend our deepest condolences to Lilian Garcia and her close ones during this challenging time.
EC3 predicts a possible reason why Lilian Garcia returned to WWE
Lilian Garcia has been a welcome addition to the WWE team. While she was brought back as a replacement for Samantha Irvin, EC3 thinks she won't stick around for much longer.
On a recent episode of The Wrestling Outlaws with Sportskeeda's own Dr. Chris Featherstone, EC3 said that he believes Lilian Garcia's return will likely be a bridge to a younger replacement to whom she will pass the torch.
"She [Lilian Garcia] was always great when I watched her. Kudos to her for coming back. It'll probably be a bridge to maybe a younger replacement down the road. Somebody she can pass the how-to's and the know-hows and the intricate game of ring announcing. So kudos to Samantha [Irvin] for taking her next step, kudos to Lilian for coming back, and kudos to everyone for being awesome," he said.
As of now, Garcia will be a big part of RAW when the flagship show moves to Netflix starting January 6, 2025.
