The WWE Universe is sharing well wishes and congratulatory messages to Matt Camp this week. Life goes on after WWE, and thankfully most former talents and personalities keep in touch with fans through social media. Camp is sharing his latest personal milestone with fans almost nine months after his release.
Camp joined World Wrestling Entertainment in September 2019, and served as host of The Bump, RAW Talk, SmackDown LowDown, and various pre-shows, documentaries, and other gigs. Camp was described as a hard worker, who had no behind-the-scenes drama, so his release this past February came as a shock to many as there was no viable explanation to go with the departure, and no internal statement.
Camp, however, is now off the market. The host of The Wrestling Matt tied the knot with partner Lauren Ann Bauman on Saturday, October 19, in Connecticut. Lauren currently works for WWE as a Lead Video Engineer and has been with the company since October 2016.
Matt took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and Lauren on the big day. The 40-year-old included five words to cement the occasion, and perhaps an inside joke.

"Put it in the books. PLD," Matt Camp wrote.
Camp hosts daily live shows and interviews on his YouTube channel, The Wrestling Matt. He launched the channel this past May and currently has 6,870 subscribers, plus 1,222,340 views off 389 videos.
Matt Camp knocks WWE Crown Jewel booking
World Wrestling Entertainment is headed to Saudi Arabia for the 2024 Crown Jewel PLE on November 2. The event will begin a new tradition for the company as the top champion of each brand will face off for the Crown Jewel championships.
Cody Rhodes will face Gunther for the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship, and Nia Jax will face Liv Morgan for the first Women's Crown Jewel Champion, but their brand-specific titles will not be on the line. Speaking on The Wrestling Matt, Camp said this PLE feels like lazy booking and a nuisance to the company.
"It feels like lazy booking, and I don't say that as a whole. I don't mean everything is lazy. I'm saying that this pay-per-view seems to be, this PLE, this Saudi Arabia event seems to be more of a nuisance to WWE; not from the money they're getting from it and that's why they are doing it. But it seems more of a nuisance to deal with before we get to Survivor Series. It seems like it's getting in the way of the booking of the Survivor Series," Matt Camp said. [From 04:32 to 05:17]
Crown Jewel will also feature Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed, as well as other matches that are not confirmed yet. After the PLE, WWE will then tape RAW in Riyadh on November 3, to air on Monday, November 4.
