Former WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is back in the headlines after Netflix recently released a docuseries on him. The show was released on the streaming platform on September 25. This was none other than WWE Hall of Famer, Eric Bischoff.

The docuseries featured several talking heads who were closely connected with McMahon. His family members such as Linda McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Triple H were interviewed for the show. Other wrestling personalities such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Bret Hart, Cody Rhodes, Bruce Prichard, Eric Bischoff, and Hulk Hogan also made appearances.

On a recent episode of 83 Weeks, Bischoff claimed he didn't recall doing any interviews for the Netflix docuseries. The former WCW President claimed that possibly when WWE producers met him earlier, they may have asked some off-topic questions that could have been used for the Vince McMahon documentary.

"I'm 90% sure or so that I didn't sit down and do an interview for this project." He continued, "There are times when I'm scheduled or booked or committed to talking about one subject and before they leave, they'll ask some other questions totally off topic for use in another project. Now perhaps in 2021 or 2022, whenever it was, they did that, knowing, they knew it was about this project. I didn't know it was about this project. That's one possibility." [From 10:05 - 11:45]

Bischoff suggested what might have happened with the Vince McMahon series

During the same discussion, Eric Bischoff pointed to another possibility of how his clips ended up on the show. He mentioned that he had, in the past, spoken about several topics related to WWE and Vince McMahon.

"Here's what I think really happened. I'm talking about the nWo and all the things that happened leading up to the launch, after the nWo, the success of the nWo, the reasons for the nWo, all that stuff. You could be out here for four hours asking questions or talking about that one subject. A lot of that content about that particular subject just also happens to fit very nicely in this new project even though that's not its original intent. It's not why I sat down and did the interview. But a lot of the things I said in the interview fit the storyline they're telling in this current doc." [From 11:50 - 12:39]

He detailed that some of his points fit in so organically that the showmakers decided to use them anyway.
