WWE Superstar Cora Jade suffered an injury at an NXT Live Event in Dade City, Florida. She has since shared a message on social media, which does not fill fans with much hope about her condition.

Jade challenged Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women's Championship in the show's main event. Following a Powerbomb on the young star, the match was abruptly stopped, and she had to be checked on by personnel before being helped to the back by multiple officials.

The former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion posted a GIF on Twitter that says, "I laugh to keep from crying," which indicates the situation is not good. Had her injury not been a serious one, Cora Jade likely would have informed the WWE Universe that she was okay.

Check out Cora Jade's tweet below:

It seemed like Jade was gaining enough momentum on NXT television to eventually win the brand's Women's Championship from Lyra Valkyria. Unfortunately, though, that does not seem like a possibility anymore for now.

Hopefully, Cora Jade's injury is not as severe as it looks, and she can return to the ring as soon as possible.

Cora Jade was not the only WWE Superstar to get injured in the ring tonight

While the NXT Live Event happened, tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown was taking place. The show featured a match between Austin Theory and Carmelo Hayes. It was going pretty smoothly until an Avalanche Spanish Fly from the former United States Champion caused both men to land on their necks in the ring.

The referee promptly called off the match, and both men were checked, with WWE confirming they were hurt. The Stamford-based company's official Twitter handle issued an update on Theory and Hayes, stating that they suffered face contusions and will both be okay.

Check out WWE's tweet below:

Both men, fortunately, look to be okay without too many issues. WWE likely would not have posted an update so quickly if the situation was more serious.
