Corey Graves shares unfortunate update ahead of WWE SmackDown

Corey Graves has provided an unfortunate update ahead of tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This week's edition of the blue brand is a jam-packed show. Cameron Grimes is scheduled to take on Grayson Waller in a singles match. Latino World Order's Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro will also take on Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo in a tag team match. Garza and Carrillo have aligned themselves with Santos Escobar after he betrayed the LWO faction. Bianca Beliar will take on Bayley tonight as well.

Ahead of tonight's show, several WWE stars have posted on social media about the weather conditions. Jey Uso shared a video of himself driving through the snow, and now SmackDown commentator Corey Graves has provided another update about the unfortunate weather conditions in Nebraska. He shared an image of a sign on the road stating that travel is not advised during the storm.

Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai also shared a video of the poor weather conditions in Nebraska. Kai uploaded a humorous video of The Street Profits driving while the snow was pouring down. It will be interesting to see if the weather conditions impact the stars available for tonight's SmackDown.

Former WWE manager reveals that he finds Corey Graves boring

Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell has shared that he is not a fan of Corey Graves' announcing style on SmackDown.

Graves started his career as a professional wrestler, but injuries cut his in-ring career short. He became a commentator on the main roster in 2016 and currently calls WWE SmackDown alongside Kevin Patrick every Friday night.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show last year, Dutch Mantell claimed it was refreshing to hear Kevin Owens as a guest commentator while Graves and his wife, WWE star Carmella, welcomed a child into their family. Mantell noted that it was nothing personal against Graves; he just finds his commentary to be boring.

"That's an upgrade to take Corey Graves away from that table. He's the most... I don't wanna say anything bad about him, but he's just boring. At least Kevin Owens said something tonight that was relevant. I mean, Corey Graves doesn't ever say anything," said Mantell. [From 11:00 - 11:25]
