SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis gave his approval to one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Alex Shelley, who was hoping to get it for his outfit. The latter also had some good things to say about the former NWA World Champion.
Shelley and Chris Sabin are members of the Motor City Machine Guns. The two stars joined WWE not too long ago, but they're already champions. They had a meeting with the SmackDown GM before making their in-ring debut on the blue brand.
Alex Shelley recently took to X/Twitter to share that Nick Aldis, who they knew very well before joining the company, was one of his favorite people in the wrestling industry, and that the meeting they had with him was special. Shelley then said that he hoped Aldis approved of the Reservoir Dogs suit that he was wearing.
"@RealNickAldis is one of my favorite people in this industry and this moment was super special - a gift from @WWE that created a pretty surreal memory. Hopefully, he approves of my Reservoir Dogs suit as workplace attire, dude is my direct supervisor now," wrote Shelley.
Nick Aldis responded by saying that he approves of the suit, and he gave a reason why:
"I approve of the suit because it's black and white, like a Guinness...and as Guinness say, good things come to those who wait," he wrote.
Nick Aldis named Liv Morgan as the MVP of 2024
This year has undoubtedly been Liv Morgan's biggest run of her entire career. She's been Women's World Champion for a while now and defeated names like Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley to retain the title.
That's why it's no surprise that Nick Aldis named her as the MVP of 2024 during an interview with Chris Van Vliet:
"And now with Liv. To me, Liv Morgan, I don't know what you want to call it breakout. I shouldn't really say break out. She's been around a long time, but she's the MVP of 2024, she leveled up in a huge way, immensely," Aldis said.
Liv Morgan will compete in the Women's WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series. This will be her first time competing in the bout.
