This week's episode of WWE SmackDown had not one, not two, but three tag team matches, two of which involved six competitors. Nia Jax teamed up with current WWE Women's Speed Champion Candice LeRae to take on Naomi and Bayley.

The Irresistible Force was unable to partner with Tiffany Stratton because the Money in the Bank contract holder was absent this week. She needed a partner, and Candice came to her rescue. However, Jax was still unhappy that she was teaming up with the current WWE Speed Women's Champion.

This was Candice LeRae's first match on SmackDown since July 5. After the bell rang, Bayley immediately attacked Nia Jax, but the latter threw her into the corner after hitting a running hip attack. Candice LeRae tagged in and ate a few punches from The Role Model. Naomi tagged and hit a kick followed by a legdrop.

Later on, Nia Jax sent Naomi crashing into the mat and slammed her with a spinebuster followed by a senton. A double tag was made and Bayley took down Candice with a clothesline. The Role Model sent LeRae into the turnbuckles with a sunset flip and went for the cover, but Nia Jax broke it up.

While the referee was distracted, Indi Hartwell shoved Bayley into the ring post and tossed her back into the ring. Candice LeRae hit the latter with a springboard moonsault and pinned the Grand Slam Champion for her first-ever win on SmackDown.
