WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio recently sat down with Ariel Helwani for The MMA Hour. During the interview, the elder Mysterio disclosed that he has already thought about a sequel to their first-time-ever clash. Only this time, there has to be an addition to it:
"I thought about doing Dominik and Rey 2," Mysterio told Ariel Helwani. "Something would need to be on the line. Whether I'm still United States Champion or he's still North American Champion. When asked about a potential tag team match in the future – perhaps even at WrestleMania 40 – between Rey Mysterio and Bad Bunny against Logan Paul and Dominik Mysterio, the Hall of Famer showed interest.
Speaking to ESPN, the United States Champion felt that it should be put out there for the company to notice:
"Ooh, I like that," Mysterio admitted. "Put it out in the universe. Let's hope WWE listens to that and picks it up. That's a good one."
Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio is riding high on a wave of momentum as he is frequently featured in segments with top stars of the industry on WWE TV. Furthermore, he is also the NXT North American Champion at present, in his second reign.
