Current WWE champion gets revenge with a win on SmackDown following backstage attack

Bianca Belair was attacked backstage by Piper Niven and Chelsea Green during the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. A singles match between Belair and Niven was made official for later in the show.

The EST started strong, delivering a flurry of mounted punches to gain the early advantage. However, Piper Niven quickly turned the tide with a powerful side slam, followed by a senton for a near fall. Belair fought her way back into the match with a crossbody.

At one point, she attempted a handspring move, but Niven caught her mid-air and countered with a Liger Bomb. In the closing moments of the match, Chelsea Green tried to interfere and distract Belair. The EST took Green out, pulled Niven from the turnbuckles, and executed a jaw-dropping KOD on Piper, securing an impressive victory.

This was an incredible win for Bianca Belair, especially given the circumstances. Last week, the Women's Tag Team Champion participated in the grueling Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series. She was clearly in pain and showing the effects of that bout, competing with taped ribs.

It remains to be seen what WWE has in store for Bianca Belair moving forward.
