Current WWE champion has lost respect for LA Knight following backstage incident during SmackDown

LA Knight is no stranger to confrontation, as we have seen on WWE SmackDown in recent weeks. The United States Champion had an awkward moment in the ring last Friday, with it culminating in a huge brawl on tonight's show.

Following his win over Andrade, Knight refused to properly shake his hand, instead going for a casual fist bump. This rubbed El Idolo the wrong way, who took issue with The Megastar's actions.

Things devolved further on tonight's WWE SmackDown, due to LA Knight's actions. He got involved in Andrade's match against Carmelo Hayes, allowing the latter to pick up the win. This ultimately led to a backstage fight between the two. They had to be pulled apart.

Following the incident, El Idolo took to Twitter/X to send a message to Knight. The current WWE Speed Champion claimed they have a problem now and that The Megastar has lost his respect:

"First you refused to shake my hand like a real man and champion @RealLAKnight!! Second you interfered with my business and because of you I couldn't get the win!! Now we have a problem!! You totally lost MY RESPECT," tweeted Andrade.

It remains to be seen how the issue between Andrade and LA Knight gets resolved on WWE SmackDown. A heel turn might be possible for either superstar, as their relationship continues to get worse.
