Current WWE champion makes appearance outside the company following recent title defense

The company's superstars treated WWE Universe to some memorable appearances. A current champion recently made a notable appearance outside the company after a successful title defense.

Bron Breakker defended his Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser or Monday Night RAW. He hit Kaiser with a Super Spear to win the contest. On December 17, the day after his successful title defense, Breakker watched the NHL game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Los Angeles Kings. The Penguins won 3-2.

Bron Breakker was at the show to add some WWE flavor to the game. He grabbed a microphone and addressed the fans in the building as the Intercontinental Champion and a company representative.

Intercontinental Champion has been doing a fine job as the champion. He retained the title in a triple-threat match against Kaiser and Sheamus at Survivor Series 2024. He defeated Ludwig Kaiser in a singles match to likely end their rivalry.

WWE Transfer could bring in some new challengers for Bron Breakker

There aren’t too many top stars who can pose a threat to Bron Breakker in his current Intercontinental Championship reign. However, he could find his next challenger following the transfer window.

WWE could move some big names like LA Knight or Austin Theory to RAW ahead of the brand’s Netflix premiere. The stars could then get into a rivalry with Breakker for the title.

It would be good to see someone like Knight have an extended rivalry against the Intercontinental Champion. He is fresh off a United States Title run that could have lasted longer.

Alternatively, Austin Theory could also give him a run for his money if Triple H gives him a good babyface run on the roster. Theory has the potential to go the extra mile in the company.
