A top WWE Superstar sent a daunting message after this week's SmackDown. He was featured in a pre-taped promo package on last night's blue brand show.

In a shocking turn of events on the December 6, 2024, installment of SmackDown, #DIY's Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano defeated the Motor City Machine Guns' Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, winning the WWE Tag Team Championship for the second time.

The Rebel Heart's heelish actions during the title match sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, hinting at a new, more ruthless side to the former fan favorite. This villainous turn of Gargano was orchestrated by Ciampa in the weeks leading up to the title match.

Last night on SmackDown, the #DIY members explained their controversial heel turn in an intense video package. On Instagram, The Psycho Killer delivered a chilling three-word message that might send a shiver down his rivals' spines.

"Just getting started…🖤," he wrote.

WWE veteran comments on Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa after SmackDown

#DIY first captured the WWE Tag Team Title after defeating Austin Theory and Grayson Waller of A-Town Down Under in July 2024. However, The Blackheart and The Rebel Heart lost the championship to Solo Sikoa's Bloodline in August.

Following this week's Friday Night SmackDown, wrestling veteran Vince Russo shared his thoughts on the reigning champions. Speaking on an edition of BroDown on Backstage Pass, the former WWE writer criticized Johnny Gargano's character, stating that the 37-year-old lacks credibility and comes across as unserious. In contrast, Russo praised Tommaso Ciampa's portrayal, as he found the latter's persona more believable and impactful.

"I can't take him [Johnny Gargano] seriously. I just can't. I can't take it seriously. No, I buy [Tommaso] Ciampa. He looks nuts. He acts nuts. I buy that. He's missing a few things. But Gargano, he should be cutting my lawn," he said.

It will be interesting to see if the Motor City Machine Guns receive an opportunity to challenge #DIY for the tag team championship in the coming weeks.
