Current WWE champions offer support to 36-year-old year old superstar moments before her title match against Nia Jax

Nia Jax will be putting her WWE Women’s Championship on the line tonight on SmackDown. Interestingly, her challenger received the support of two current champions moments ahead of her match. With Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair having her back, Noami stands a good chance of dethroning Jax.

The Irresistible Force and The Glow have exchanged blows multiple times across several weeks now. Unfortunately for Nia Jax, Naomi has already pinned her in both doubles as well as a singles match. Thus, many believe she stands a good chance of dethroning her off the title she has been holding for 104 days.

Ahead of her match, Noami was speaking with Bayley backstage about trusting IYO SKY, someone who had kicked The Role Model out of the faction she led. The duo were joined by Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, who said that if any funny business happened, then they would be there to take care of it.

Notably, Naomi and the Women’s Tag Team Champions had teamed up recently on Monday Night RAW, alongside IYO SKY, to take out Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, and Tiffany Stratton. While this new alliance has left Bayley uncomfortable, The Glow seems to be fine with this new arrangement.

Despite the tag champs saying they had Naomi’s back, they were neutralized by RAW's Morgan and Rodriguez before they could help her. Eventually, with the help of Tiffy and Candice LeRae, Queen Nia emerged victorious tonight and retained her title. It would be interesting to see what lies next for The Annihilator.
