"Currently bulking" - Former WWE Superstar shows off impressive body transformation

A former WWE Superstar has shown off his impressive body transformation today on social media.

Buddy Matthews, formerly known as Buddy Murphy in WWE, is currently a part of The House of Black faction in All Elite Wrestling. The faction made their presence felt on this past Saturday's edition of AEW Collision by unleashing numerous attacks throughout the show.

The veteran was released by WWE in 2021 and made his debut for All Elite Wrestling in February 2022. He is currently in a relationship with Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley and the happy couple announced their engagement earlier this year.

Matthews took his Instagram story today to share a new photograph of his impressive physique. The 35-year-old added that he is "currently bulking" as seen in the image below.

WWE star Rhea Ripley on how she balances relationships with Buddy Matthews and Dominik Mysterio

Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley recently disclosed how she balances her real-life relationship with Buddy Matthews and her on-screen relationship with Dominik Mysterio.

Both Ripley and Mysterio's popularity has grown exponentially since joining The Judgment Day faction. The two superstars have a bizarre on-screen relationship that has captivated wrestling fans. Dominik Mysterio has evolved into one of the most despised superstars on the roster due to his involvement with Ripley and The Judgment Day.

Speaking with Riju Dasgupta in an exclusive interview for Sportskeeda Wrestling, Rhea Ripley shared that it wasn't difficult for her to balance both relationships. The Eradicator noted that she is a completely different person when she appears on WWE television.

"To be honest, it's pretty easy. Look, I love my fiancé, I think he's great, but when I'm at work I am a completely different human being. When I'm at work, Dom is my partner. He is my partner in crime, he is my Latino Heat, my Dirty Dominik Mysterio, and I will do absolutely anything I can to get him on top of anyone that he's against. But yeah, for me it's sort of like a switch and he [Buddy Matthews] understands that as well. That's why it works." [2:01 – 2:35]

The House of Black's tenure in All Elite Wrestling has been frustrating so far. The faction are former Trios Champions, but there have been extended periods of time where they have been completely off of television. It will be interesting to see if AEW has something planned for the faction in the weeks ahead.
