Dakota Kai unhappy at her real-life WWE Superstar boyfriend's recent actions

Dakota Kai had an interesting response to her WWE Superstar boyfriend's despicable actions on tonight's episode of NXT. The Damage CTRL member doesn't agree with what he did.

She is currently dating Eddy Thorpe, and their relationship was revealed a few months ago. The NXT star has become a prominent part of the show and ended tonight's episode by confessing that he faked his injury last week.

Thorpe intentionally took himself out of the men's Iron Survivor Challenge and goaded Trick Williams into giving him an NXT Championship match anyway. He revealed to Ava that it was all a ruse after signing the contract for the title match on next week's show.

That was quite the sneaky heel move. Some might even say it was genius. However, Kai doesn't seem pleased by it. She quote-tweeted WWE's post about the backstage segment and made her feelings known with a one-word message followed by an emoji:

It remains to be seen if Eddy Thorpe and Dakota Kai will ever work together in WWE. Real-life couples in the same storyline aren't too common, especially if the company doesn't acknowledge their relationship.

While Thorpe is going for the NXT Championship, Kai herself has singles gold on her mind. She is in the semi-finals of the tournament to crown the first-ever Women's Intercontinental Champion.
