Since Judgment Day was formed, Finn Balor and Damian Priest have only grown close to each other like brothers. While they have had their differences of opinion, they have stuck together and looked after each other.
Damian Priest is facing the toughest challenge of his title reign as Gunther is set to face him for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. To weaken The Ring General, Finn Balor was set to face him in a singles match tonight on RAW.

Ahead of this match, Balor made it clear to Priest and Rhea Ripley that he didn't want any help. Throughout the match, Finn brought the fight to The Ring General. However, in the end, the former Intercontinental Champion choked Balor out in the ring, and the referee had to stop the match.
Once the match was over, Gunther continued to choke out Balor until Priest came out and brawled with him. Damian brutalized The Ring General to the point where he was trying to evade him by going through the crowd as the show closed.
