Former WWE star Dijak recently spoke about being in the NXT Championship picture. The star recently parted ways from the company.

Last month, Dijak announced on social media that he would depart World Wrestling Entertainment after his contract expired on June 28, 2024. He penned a heartfelt letter on X/Twitter detailing his experience.

Dijak recently spoke with Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling. He addressed the section from his letter stating that there were plans for him to challenge for the NXT title. He recalled how one of the writers asked him about his dynamic with then-NXT Champion Trick Williams.

He felt a possible feud was lined up after NXT Stand and Deliver, but those plans were scrapped after he was called up to RAW.

"Honestly, the most I heard about it was when one of the writers was asking me about my interactions with Trick Williams from the Iron Survivor Challenge match as the basis for a potential feud after Stand and Deliver. Other than that I read an article online that confirmed this plan. I assume the plans changed because of the draft."

After a seven-year run with the Stamford-based company, Dijak is now firmly placed to make his name outside of the company. He recently appeared on the independent circuit and was backstage at AEW Forbidden Door.
