Dijak became a free agent on June 28 after his WWE contract expired. Shortly after announcing the news, the 37-year-old shared details of a complaint he made backstage at one of his last television tapings.

WWE Superstars' pay varies based on several factors. The likes of John Cena and Roman Reigns have earned several million dollars per year for most of their careers. Meanwhile, wrestlers further down the card usually rely on their storyline direction and merchandise sales to receive more money.

On Mace and Mansoor's insideMxM Twitch channel, Dijak revealed he recently spoke up to his fellow wrestlers about WWE's pay structure and how no one disagreed with him when he noted in front of other wrestlers on the roster that the Stamford-based promotion's pay structure was extremely skewed.

"I just went on this huge rant and not a f***ing single person in the locker room disagreed with me. Because I just said out loud, this is in front of top guys, this is in front of everybody, I said, 'The way that we do f***ing pay structures here is so silly because it's phony made-up bulls**t that you guys decide and you make it up and you make up the rules, and then you're gonna come to me and say like, no, you're not worth enough because you're not a champion,'" he said. Dijak's last WWE match ended in defeat against Xavier Woods on the June 19 episode of WWE Speed.

Dijak suggests a new way WWE should pay wrestlers

Some WWE newcomers receive more money than veteran wrestlers due to their star power or potential in the industry.

Dijak, who spent seven years in WWE, thinks salaries should be based on how long wrestlers have worked for the company.

"The whole thing could be solved so easily if you just pay guys based on tenure. That should be f***ing it. That should be the number one, bottom line, end of discussion, and for whatever f***ing reason it's not. There's no reason that some guy should come in and be a blue-chipper and be a f***ing, 'This guy's the top guy.' No, it's f***ing made up!" he fumed. [2:38:10 – 2:38:37]

Dijak also disclosed details about a negative interaction he once had with former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon after a match.
