A series of WWE departures have been seen over the past few weeks, leaving fans stunned. A few weeks ago, Samantha Irvin announced that she had left the Stamford-based company, with the decision seemingly coming out of the blue. Irvin's departure from the company left a lot of questions unanswered for fans.
Following her announcement, it was revealed that it was Samantha Irvin's decision to leave the company. The former ring announcer revealed she wanted a bigger role, maybe a manager or a general manager but Triple-H and company didn't see her outside of being an announcer.
Wrestling veteran Disco Inferno addressed the comments on a recent edition of his Keeping it 100 podcast. The veteran stated that the heat Samantha Irvin got online was "weird" and that he felt "disappointed" with the star's announcement.
He also stated that the former WWE personality was the "voice of RAW" and had built a name for herself in a short period of time.

"I thought she got some weird heat online here and there. I thought she was a great announcer; she really became the voice of RAW in a short period of time for me. So I was actually disappointed to see her go," said Disco Inferno [1:57 onwards]
WWE released some major names recently
While Samantha Irvin voluntarily left the company, a few names got released from their contract shortly after that. Former United States Champion Baron Corbin, former NXT Champion Indi Hartwell, and RAW Superstar Tegan Nox were released by the company.
The stars, especially Corbin, were some of the big names in the company and it was surprising for fans to see them leave.
WWE is currently gearing up for Survivor Series, with the highlight of the show set to be the men's WarGames match featuring the two sides of The Bloodline.
