Pete Dunne had been growing increasingly irritated by R-Truth's antics on WWE RAW over the past few weeks. Truth often mistakenly called Dunne by his previous name, Butch, something The Bruiserweight despises.

The two finally faced off in a singles match during the latest episode of RAW. Before the match, Dunne cut a promo backstage. He was clearly motivated to put Truth away for good.

The 31-year-old star came out strong in the early stages of the match. He unloaded on R-Truth with a flurry of strikes. He followed up with a big stomp to Truth's chest and then delivered a brutal stomp to his head, followed by a boot to the face.

The former NXT Tag Team Champion continued his assault with more grounded punches. However, things took an unexpected turn when the fans began chanting "Butch." Pete Dunne appeared visibly distracted as if he was about to confront the fans in the front row. Seizing the opportunity, R-Truth rolled up Dunne for a shocking victory, prompting a loud reaction from the crowd.
