Dominik Mysterio fires shots at CM Punk; gives him a hilarious new nickname

WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio recently shared a social media update revealing what he thinks of CM Punk. He further gave The Second City Saint a hilarious new nickname.

The Judgment Day member's first interaction with CM Punk inside the squared circle was during the latter's feud with Rey Mysterio in 2010. Ever since the Best in the World returned to the Stamford-based company last year, the two stars have not wasted any opportunity to mock each other.

Earlier today, "Dirty" Dom reshared CM Punk's Instagram Story, in which the latter joked about the 27-year-old. The younger Mysterio noted that the veteran is the only person other than The Master of the 619 that he despises. He further referred to Punk as "CM drizzlingsh*ts."

Dominik Mysterio opens up about being CM Punk's first opponent following the latter's WWE return

Since his return to the global juggernaut, CM Punk has wrestled only two matches outside Premium Live Events. Both the in-ring appearances were on non-televised house shows against Dominik. Their first match at the iconic Madison Square Garden marked Punk's first match inside a WWE ring in nearly a decade.

During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Dominik Mysterio pointed out that he did not expect WWE to book him against Punk, considering the promotion's roster was stacked with several talented stars. The former NXT North American Champion added that he was glad to be the veteran's first opponent.

"Yeah, kind of crazy. I didn't expect it to be me, just because we have so much great talent right now, especially the roster we have today, Raw and SmackDown. But the fact that they trusted me to go in there with him on his first match back, like you said, after what, 10 years, I'm glad I was able to give him his first punch," he said. [H/T - CVV]

While CM Punk will lock horns with Seth Rollins in the main event of RAW's Netflix Premiere, Dominik Mysterio will be in Liv Morgan's corner at the show as she defends the Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley. It remains to be seen if Punk and Mysterio will cross paths and compete in a televised match.
