Dominik Mysterio was in the main event dark match after WWE SmackDown went off the air and got destroyed by a current Champion who has been on a hot streak lately. It only took a minute and seven seconds.
This week after SmackDown went off the air, two dark matches took place - the first of which saw Gunther defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the beloved Otis. In the second match of the night, Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker faced Dominik Mysterio.
Dominik Mysterio, who also had a great match against Gunther on RAW this week, faced Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker after SmackDown went off the air. It took Breakker merely 67 seconds to win - and the only reason it took that long was because of Dominik's time-wasting.
A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE
This was the best possible way to send the crowd home happy. Although Bron Breakker has primarily been a villain in 2024, all directions suggest that he will be in the "Tweener" territory - meaning he won't be a good or bad guy. In 2024, that seems to be a good way to go with certain superstars.
Dominik was also spotted talking to Nick Aldis in a backstage segment, during which Byron Saxton told Bianca Belair that Piper Niven was 100% not behind the attack on Jade Cargill.
Will Dominik appear on SmackDown more due to the Trade/Transfer Window? Only time will tell.
