Dominik Mysterio's real-life godfather showed up at a recent non-WWE event in a Judgment Day shirt. Konnan proudly wore the merchandise while attacking AAA's Head of Talent Relations Latin Lover at Triplemanix XXXII: Mexico City.
In the penultimate match of Saturday night's event, Alberto El Patron defeated Nic Nemeth to become the new AAA Mega Champion. Lover came out after the match to congratulate the new champion, but the former WWE Superstar was not buying any of it.
AAA's Head of Creative Konnan also went to the ring to confront El Patron. However, it was all a ploy as the new AAA Mega Champion hit a low blow on Lover before Konnan, who was wearing a Judgment Day shirt, used a trash can lid to bash his fellow executive's head.

Konnan is pretty close with the Mysterio family, with the former WCW star inducting Rey Mysterio into the WWE Hall of Fame last year. He's also one of Dominik Mysterio's real-life godfathers, as well as one of his first trainers.
Dominik Mysterio appreciates Konnan's tough love
In addition to being Dominik Mysterio's real-life godfather, Konnan also served as one of his first trainers. The two remain in touch with each other and "Dirty" Dom appreciates the gesture every time the 60-year-old veteran gives him advice or gets real with him.
"I could have a sh*tty match and people would say, 'That was really good,' just to be on my good side. You don't know what's real or not. But then I'd get a call from Konnan. He'd say, 'Your punches looked like sh*t,' 'You need to work on this,' or 'Stop doing the 619 if you're not going to do it properly.' ... Konnan gave me tough love, right from when I started training with him and my dad. He still keeps an eye out on my matches, and I'm a student of the game, so I'm always willing to learn from someone who revolutionized the sport," Dom said in an interview with Sports Illustrated back in May.
Dominik Mysterio has turned into one of the best heels in wrestling while also improving in the ring. He even became one of the WWE's top workhorses who they can count on to wrestle when needed on television or live events.
