WWE RAW saw Dominik Mysterio reunite with his Mami. The road to SummerSlam picked up in a major way this week, and now the third generation Superstar is quoting a viral celebrity beef to show how defiant he's feeling.
Rhea Ripley returned to WWE one week ago and has already linked back up with Dirty Dom. A show-long storyline on Monday's RAW ended with The Eradicator declaring that she belongs to no one, but Dominik belongs to her. The reunion came after Mysterio's loss to Jey Uso. Liv Morgan interfered during the match and tried to cause drama between the Judgment Day members, but Ripley forced the Women's World Champion to retreat.
Con-Man Dom took to Instagram this afternoon to share photos from the 9-minute loss to Main Event Jey. Mysterio captioned the photos with a lyric from Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" single, which was released during his feud with fellow rapper Drake.
"'Beat yo a*s and hide the Bible if God watching,'" Dominik Mysterio wrote with the photos below.
Ripley and Mysterio have reunited amid uncertainty within The Judgment Day. WWE continues to tease a potential split for the dominant faction.
Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio set for WWE SummerSlam
The Eradicator will finally get her hands on the Women's World Champion at the 37th annual SummerSlam PLE. The big event is scheduled for Saturday, August 3 at Browns Stadium in Cleveland.
Monday's RAW opened up with Dominik Mysterio trying to get Rhea Ripley to forgive him. Liv Morgan interrupted but was challenged to a SummerSlam title match by Ripley. Morgan ended up accepting the challenge, and saying she hopes Mysterio will be there for the match.
Ripley has not wrestled since retaining the Women's World Championship over Becky Lynch at WrestleMania XL. She was forced to relinquish the title days later after suffering a shoulder injury while working a backstage brawl with Morgan.
WWE has confirmed just two other matches for SummerSlam. Damian Priest will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther, while Nia Jax will challenge Women's Champion Bayley. Gunther and Jax earned the title shots by winning the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments in May.
