Dominik Mysterio took a hilarious shot at his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, ahead of tonight's episode of SmackDown. Tonight's edition of the blue brand will air live from the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York, as the promotion continues to build towards WWE Crown Jewel on November 2.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, Dominik Mysterio was asked to say one nice thing about his father. Mysterio thought about it for a moment before hilariously claiming that his father had nice hair despite the legend being bald.
"Um... Sure. He's got nice hair," he said. [From 46:30 - 46:35]

Dominik Mysterio also stated that he is not fearful of losing his hair like his father, because Rey Mysterio was already bald by the age of 21. Rey Mysterio defeated his son in a singles match at WrestleMania 39 and teamed up with Andrade to defeat Dirty Dom and Santos Escobar at WWE WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia earlier this year. NFL stars Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson got involved in the match to help Rey Mysterio and Andrade pick up the victory.
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio suggests interesting retirement match against Dominik Mysterio
Rey Mysterio recently pitched an interesting retirement match against Dominik Mysterio down the line.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Emily Mae earlier this year, the legend was asked to name who he would like to face in his final match. The 49-year-old pitched a Hair vs. Mask match against Dominik Mysterio with his son's hair on the line.
"That is a very good question, and [a] very hard one as well," Rey Mysterio said. "I don't think I have an opponent in mind, but if I had to put all my marbles on the line, I wouldn't mind betting my mask against something big, something worth me winning for the very last time. I don't know who that is. I mean, would Dom put his hair on the line? Mask versus hair? Why not? Yeah, that might be a great option." [2:44 – 3:21]
