While the WWE Royal Rumble is still months away, a few names are already being discussed as potential winners of the men's over-the-top-rope battle royal, with The Rock being one of them. However, a majority of fans have made it clear that they do not wish to see the Final Boss as the winner of the marquee match.
The Hollywood star returned to WWE programming at Bad Blood where he had a staredown with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns after their victory over The Bloodline. While the appearance was likely a one-off, The People's Champion is expected to work a lengthy program with Reigns and Cody on the Road to WrestleMania.
There are also speculations that the Brahma Bull could win the 2025 Royal Rumble to set up a match with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.
While this is all just speculation at this point, fans are not on board with the idea as many believe that The Rock does not deserve a Rumble win at this point in his career.
A lot of fans also want to see the Final Boss face Roman Reigns at the Showcase of Immortals, and not Cody Rhodes.
However, some are fine with the Hollywood star winning the 30-man battle royal:
The Rock has won the Royal Rumble just once in his illustrious career, winning the marquee match in 2000. He competed in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match at WrestleMania 2000 for the WWF Championship. However, the Special One failed to win the title.
Triple H commented on The Rock's return to WWE
The Rock stunned the WWE Universe at Bad Blood as he made his return to confront Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. While the Final Boss did not say anything, his presence was enough for fans to lose their minds.
Triple H also praised the Hollywood star in the post-Bad Blood conference, stating that he is thankful to the latter for his dedication to the business:
"You have to be the biggest superstar in the world to be able to hit your music, walk out, blow the roof off the place, and I am out. It's epic. I'm thankful to him with everything he has got going on in his career and his life. He has never looked away from what brought him to the dance and what his roots are. It's in his DNA, it is in his blood, it is who he is. Anytime we are at a place where he can take that 30 seconds from his incredible schedule to come back and feel that electricity that you can only get in WWE, he does it. I am thrilled for it and thankful for him," Triple H said.
The Rock had one of the best runs of his WWE career during WrestleMania season earlier this year. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what The Final Boss has in store this time.
