R-Truth has been in the wrestling business for almost three decades, so he knows a thing or two about it, despite being mainly used as a comedic act in WWE. He had to reaffirm to 21-time champion The Miz that he was a legend and should not be surprised that people call him one.
WWE recently released a documentary on The Miz titled "A&E Biography: Legends – The Miz." It premiered on Sunday, and the two-time WWE Champion still couldn't believe that the word legend had been attached to his name.
In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, The Miz shared the story of how shocked he was at the title of his documentary when it showed during a commercial break. He was in a match with R-Truth, and he had to ask if he really was a legend.
"We were coming out of commercial, me and Truth were next to each other in the ring, and it goes, 'Biography: WWE Legends: The Miz.' And I turned to Truth and said, 'Wait, I'm a legend?' Truth looks at me and goes, 'Yeah, dog. Don't you know?'"

Despite starting his career on the wrong foot by alienating the locker room, The Miz has carved a legendary career worthy of a Hall of Fame induction in the future.
In addition to being a two-time WWE Champion, he's also an eight-time Intercontinental Champion, a two-time United States Champion, a nine-time Tag Team Champion, and a two-time Money in the Bank winner.
The Miz called tagging with R-Truth a 'breath of fresh air'
In an appearance on the Cleveland Browns Daily Show on YouTube before WrestleMania, The Miz discussed what it was like to reunite with R-Truth. He called it a "breath of fresh air" since it's been more than a decade since the Awesome Truth was a thing in WWE.
"Tagging with him is a breath of fresh air. I'm so used to, even to this day, still things surprise me. And it's very hard to surprise me, but they do. Truth told me, it was a live event. He's like, 'We're just going to be the tag team that has fun.' In my head, I went, 'If someone beats you up, your initial reaction is, I'm going to beat this guy up. I'm going to take him out,'" The Miz said. [H/T WresteZone]
Things paid off for The Miz and R-Truth since they got a WrestleMania moment when they won the RAW Tag Team Championship in Philadelphia. Since then, they have been World Tag Team Champions but recently lost the title to Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day.
