Drew McIntyre has made several enemies in WWE with his recent antics. However, former United States Champion Baron Corbin wants McIntyre to pay for his past actions and explains why they don't get along in the back.
Drew McIntyre's year with WWE was filled with turmoil as The Scottish Warrior had several highs and lows in less than a year. Ahead of Drew's Strap Match against CM Punk, Baron Corbin got candid and stated McIntyre needs to pay for his actions.
In an interview with Seconds Out, the 39-year-old star believes McIntyre must pay for kicking out of 'End of Days' at WrestleMania 38. Moreover, he explained why he doesn't get along with the three-time WWE World Champion behind the scenes.
"I think because we have a lot of similarities. We're both kind of Alpha males, we have a little bit of ego. We're relatively the same size and same age. Like, there's a lot of competition there, just natural competition for me being the guy. I feel like him kicking out of End of Days, I still think about that nonstop and he just needs to pay for it. When we walk each other by in the hallway, it's not a 'Hey and a hug and a handshake', there's just that, I don't really like you and you don't really like me kinda attitude," Corbin said. What happened between Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin in WWE?
In 2021, Baron Corbin, alongside Madcap Moss, was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown. Later, the two stars feuded with Drew McIntyre on the brand for months to come, which concluded at The Grandest Stage of Them All in Texas.
During the match, The Scottish Warrior did the unthinkable at the time and kicked out of Baron Corbin's End of Days. The finisher was heavily protected for years, and no one had previously kicked out of the move.
The loss made Corbin spiral down the card in the coming months and eventually led to him returning to the developmental brand. Drew McIntyre's actions haven't sat well with the star.
