WWE Champion Drew McIntyre recently had a chat with Mike Jones on the Washington radio station DC101. The Scottish Psychopath discussed a string of topics, including his wish to have a match with WWE legend The Undertaker.
Drew McIntyre recalled how The Undertaker stated in his docu-series that he always returns when Vince McMahon calls. McIntyre added that ever since then, he has been prodding Vince McMahon to call The Deadman about a return.
"In his Last Ride documentary on the WWE Network, he [The Undertaker] said he will always come when Vince McMahon calls. So, every single week, I prod Vince McMahon to 'make the call, make the call!'"
Drew McIntyre and The Undertaker aren't exactly strangers to each other
Fans might remember that Drew McIntyre and The Undertaker had collided last year when The Phenom teamed up with Roman Reigns to take on the heel duo of McIntyre and Shane McMahon. The match took place at WWE Extreme Rules, with Reigns and The Undertaker coming out victorious.
McIntyre went on to win the 2020 Royal Rumble match and later captured the WWE title at WrestleMania 36. He has managed to keep the belt on his shoulders ever since. One wonders if Vince McMahon will eventually give in and make the call to bring back The Undertaker for a match against McIntyre.
