Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will be in action on the upcoming RAW's debut on Netflix. Recently, he revealed what "matters" most to him ahead of a major match on the red brand.
The Scottish Warrior defeated Sami Zayn at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, 2024. In a rematch on the red brand, McIntyre once again emerged victorious over the former Intercontinental Champion.
Now, the 39-year-old star is scheduled to face Jey Uso in a one-on-one match on January 6, 2025. Drew McIntyre is targeting The OG Bloodline members because they reunited with Roman Reigns during the Men's WarGames Match.
Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, the former WWE Champion declared that his primary focus is on seeking retribution against those who have wronged him in the past.
"I'm going to focus on what matters to me at that exact moment, and what matters to me right now is beating up everybody that's ever s*rewed me over," McIntyre said. [H/T - The Ringer]
Drew McIntyre explains why he is willing to face any repercussions from WWE management
The Scottish Psychopath was repeatedly fined during his 2024 feud with CM Punk. These fines were issued mostly by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and once or twice by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.
During the same interaction on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Drew McIntyre stated that he is willing to take risks and face potential consequences to achieve the best possible outcomes for himself, the fans, and the WWE. He believes that sometimes it is necessary to push boundaries to set the standard for excellence.
"I think I'm at that place where I'm like, 'S*rew it. I'm going to go all the way, and I'm willing to deal with the repercussions,' just to get the best possible result for myself, for the fans, and in the end, for the company. And if I get smacked a few times along the way, that's sometimes what it takes to set the standard," he said.
Fans will have to wait and see which WWE Superstar McIntyre will target next after he concludes his feud with Jey Uso on the upcoming Monday Night RAW.
