Drew McIntyre made an emphatic return to WWE television. This past Monday on RAW, he ambushed Sami Zayn and reflected on it with a four-word message on social media.
Throughout the majority of 2024, McIntyre feuded with CM Punk. The two superstars faced each other on three separate occasions. At Bad Blood, Punk defeated McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match. The Scotsman had been absent since losing to the former WWE Champion.
On Instagram, McIntyre shared a four-word message and the closing shot from RAW with him standing tall over Zayn:
"What have I become…" wrote McIntyre.

Bill Apter believes Drew McIntyre's return might be tied to Bronson Reed's injury
Bill Apter has discussed Drew McIntyre's return to WWE. This past Monday, the Scotsman made a huge statement by taking out Sami Zayn after his loss to Seth Rollins in the main event of RAW.
Bill Apter discussed McIntyre's return while speaking on Backstage Pass. He believes Reed's injury might've played a major role in McIntyre returning so quickly to WWE TV. Apter said:
"I haven't heard any updates [on Reed's injury] except that this is the reason, I figure, that Drew McIntyre was brought back so quickly... to be the heel, to replace Bronson Reed. I didn't think Drew was gonna come back until the Royal Rumble or do a run-in at Saturday Night's Main Event."
Reed represented the new Bloodline at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event. He was one of the highlights of the WarGames Match against the OG Bloodline and CM Punk.
Reed attempted a huge Tsunami from the top of the WarGames Match during the match. However, he failed to connect the brutal move on Roman Reigns, who Punk saved in the last second.
McIntyre could be feuding with the superstars who teamed up with Punk at WarGames.
