Drew McIntyre had a whirlwind of a Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, winning the briefcase for a title opportunity, but having a failed cash-in due to interference from his arch-nemesis, CM Punk. However, it is his actions during the post-show that has gotten him in serious trouble with Adam Pearce.
McIntyre appeared during the Money in the Bank post-show, visibly angry after Punk cost him another chance to win a world title, interrupting panel members Big E, Wade Barrett, and Jackie Redmond. The Scottish Warrior threatened CM Punk and shoved WWE officials who tried to stop.
Things worsened when Drew McIntyre hit RAW General Manager Adam Pearce in the melee, resulting in the latter getting fired up as well. Barrett eventually separated the duo and claimed that McIntyre's career would be over if he hit Pearce again. The 39-year-old star finally backed off and was taken away by Wade Barrett.
Adam Pearce, however, seemingly isn't keen on letting Drew McIntyre get away so easily with his heinous actions, if his Instagram story is anything to go by.
"Payback is a b***h, Drew," wrote Pearce.

Drew McIntyre set to face major WWE Superstar at SummerSlam
While speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Drew McIntyre facing CM Punk at SummerSlam 2024 is "probable."
He also added that the match is "now more than a hope" and it has moved to the planning phase.
Check out Meltzer's quote below:
"Right now, it is not one hundred percent as far as (CM) Punk vs. Drew (McIntyre) at SummerSlam, but I was told that it is probable. I was pretty much told that they're pretty confident in it but they can't go and say one hundred percent because it isn't one hundred percent. It's been the hope, but it's now more than a hope, now it's a plan," said Dave Meltzer.
It remains to be seen what kind of twists and turns unfold in this long-running feud between McIntyre and Punk on the road to The Biggest Party of the Summer.
