Drew McIntyre recently made a surprise return to WWE, and he may be more brazen than ever. After suffering a devastating loss, the veteran began a campaign of carnage against top stars, and he shows no sign of slowing down. While plotting his next move, the star took time to blast a new Marvel movie and do his best supervillain impersonation.
The Scottish Warrior lost his feud with CM Punk after a Hell in a Cell defeat at WWE Bad Blood in October. McIntyre made a surprise return earlier this month, taking out Sami Zayn on RAW, then attacked Jimmy Uso on SmackDown. The former WWE Champion explained that he saw Zayn and The Usos sell their souls for nothing in WarGames at Survivor Series, so he decided to target them for his return. Drew's attack on Uso came during SmackDown on Friday, the same night Kraven The Hunter was released in theaters by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
McIntyre disapproves of Kraven The Hunter, which currently has a 73% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a low 14% critics rating. Sony's latest MCU release grossed $26 million worldwide on a budget of $110-130 million, but that doesn't impress The Scottish Psychopath. McIntyre took to Instagram with an eight-word review of the R-rated action-adventure film and a few photos of his best supervillain impersonation.
"Unlike Kraven the Hunter I won’t absolutely suck," Drew McIntyre wrote with the photos below.
McIntyre is scheduled to appear on Friday's taped SmackDown. SK Wrestling has full spoilers for the show, but McIntyre's program with The Bloodline will continue.
Drew McIntyre returns to the ring at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event
Drew McIntyre returned to in-ring action at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event this past weekend. This marked McIntyre's first match in 70 days, as his last bout before SNME was the Hell in a Cell loss to CM Punk at Bad Blood.
The Chosen One defeated Sami Zayn at the show. The match ended just over 10 minutes after opening the SNME broadcast. McIntyre ducked out of the ring, then lured Zayn back in to deliver a Claymore for the pin to win.
SNME marked the 10 televised singles match between Drew and Sami since 2021. Drew has won every time, but two matches ended in a countout, and one was a No-Contest.
