The Wyatt Sicks has featured prominently on RAW in recent months. WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently explained why he would not have created the group if he were in charge.
The five-person stable was put together as a tribute to former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, who passed away in August 2023. Wyatt's brother Bo Dallas, aka Uncle Howdy, is the faction's leader. Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross are also part of the group.
Bischoff oversaw WCW's television ratings success over WWE in the mid-to-late 1990s. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, he said an idea like The Wyatt Sicks would never have crossed his mind:
"You've gotta have a blend," Bischoff stated. "Not everybody likes what I like or what you like or what she likes, so you've gotta give her what she likes and what I like and what you like, but find a way to balance it. The Wyatt thing, that's not something that I would think about or try to create because my brain doesn't work that way for that kind of presentation. I'm a different kind of storyteller." Eric Bischoff appreciates WWE's Wyatt Sicks efforts
Over the last few weeks, videotape footage has told the backstory of the Wyatt Sicks members. The group also started feuding with Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers.
While Eric Bischoff would not have written the story himself, he has enjoyed watching WWE's unique Wyatt Sicks presentation:
"But I appreciate it for what it is because it's phenomenal. It's produced so well, and I know there are so many people that are into it. I'm almost 70 years old, so I'm a little outside of the box when it comes to their target audience." [12:32 – 12:47]
Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, and Joe Gacy unmasked on the July 29 episode of RAW. On August 5, they will face Gable and The Creed Brothers in a six-man tag team match.
