AEW has a track record of recruiting former WWE talents frequently, and recent rumors only add to that tally. However, Vince Russo for one is not impressed with the new rumored signings.
According to recent reports, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP may be on their way to join Tony Khan's roster. All three names are former WWE champions and are expected to re-form their previous faction, under the new name, 'The Hurt Syndicate.' Considering the already massive size of the AEW lineup, there certainly is a chance of the trio getting lost in the shuffle.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws show, Vince Russo expressed frustration at the rumors and stated that he was tired of the constant signing in AEW and urged the promotion to bring about some consistency as to how they operate.
"Bro how many people are we gonna sign, my god bro. It's just getting relentless and ridiculous now. If somebody knew every week they are on TV for a couple of weeks then the next person knew... I am begging them bro to have some consistency. Start coming up with a roster of guys and gals that you're gonna go with week in and week out," he said. [4:20 onwards]

WWE veteran especially upset with Tony Khan's AEW decisions
According to Vince Russo, Tony Khan could be trying to get new big signings simply to stay relevant.
On the same episode of The Wrestling Outlaws show, the former head writer of WWE felt that Tony Khan may be too inexperienced to keep AEW relevant, resulting in frequent signings to hype fans up. He was extremely frustrated with the flurry of recent recruits.
"My god bro, is this the only way Tony Khan believes that he cam stay relevant and the company can be relevant? Every single week bro it's new signings man. It's ridiculous bro," he said. [4:49 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen what the former WWE Superstars can do in AEW if the rumors turn out to be true.
