Since her return last year, Chelsea Green has been one of the most entertaining characters on WWE TV. A former WWE employee recently claimed she should receive a significant push.
The 33-year-old is currently active on SmackDown. While she previously held the Women's Tag Team Championship for 154 days, Green is now chasing the newly introduced Women's United States Championship. The Canadian star qualified for the Women's United States Championship tournament's semi-finals after defeating Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in the first round.
Speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci expressed his desire to see Green win the title. The man who spent over 30 years in the Stamford-based company showered the former Women's Tag Team Champion with praise, pointing out that she deserves a significant push:
"I think Chelsea Green should win the US Women's [Championship] because she can elevate it. She's entertaining, she can cut a promo, and she has personality. So, truly, it looks like she's working on her craft," he said. [29:10 - 29:20]

Tommy Carlucci's co-host thinks another WWE star will win the title
Another fast-rising star in the Stamford-based company is Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton. The 25-year-old will square off with Naomi and Elektra Lopez this Friday in the first round of the Women's United States Tournament.
On a previous episode of Behind The Turnbuckle: The War Room, Tommy Carlucci's co-host, former Interim RAW General Manager Jonathan Coachman, predicted that Tiffy Time would be crowned the inaugural Women's United States Champion at Saturday Night's Main Event:
"You just took my answer. It's definitely gonna be Tiffany Stratton," The Coach said.
It will be interesting to see if Chelsea Green and Stratton go head-to-head in the tournament's final.
