Former WWE head writer Vince Russo feels that Finn Balor needs to make a big change to become relevant again. The star is currently a prominent feature of the RAW roster alongside The Judgment Day.
During this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, Balor made a huge statement as he and The Judgment Day attacked Gunther. The group also didn't spare their former member Damian Priest when he came out looking for a fight. The Prince landed a trifecta of Coup de Grace on The Punisher, proving that he had his eyes set on the World Heavyweight Championship.
This week on Writing with Russo, the former writer explained that if Finn Balor reverted to The Demon character, he could get a big push. However, Russo was not convinced that WWE would do a good job of booking the star in his alter ego after the current creative team had messed up The Wyatt Sicks with their booking.
"Bro, if you push him as The Demon, I'm fine with that. But how are you gonna figure out what to do with The Demon when you can't figure out what to do the Wyatt Sicks?" [From 09:03 to 09:11]

After the senseless attack, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce met with The Judgment Day backstage and informed Finn Balor that the title match at Saturday Night's Main Event would now be contested as a Triple Threat encounter.
Balor was surprisingly happy with the decision, claiming he could prove to everyone that he was better than Gunther and Damian Priest.
