John Cena has been a part of several iconic WWE segments over the past twenty years, and the veteran is set to make a few more in the coming months. Meanwhile, Hiroko Suzuki, fka Hiroko, got candid about a kissing segment with the Franchise Player.

In 2004, John Cena worked his way to the top as the United States Champion and feuded with different names on SmackDown. In one segment during his title reign, Cena kissed Hiroko, Kenzo Suzuki's manager and real-life wife, live during SmackDown.

In an interview with Ring The Belle, the veteran got candid about the segment with The Leader of Cenation. She said she barely remembers the entire segment, but John Cena was always nice and polite to her backstage and often spent his time thinking about wrestling:

"I don't remember much because it was a long time ago. John [Cena] is very nice. He's very polite and he always thinks about wrestling backstage. He always talks so slowly to me. He's so nice," Suzuki said. (From 19:55 to 20:30)

What did Hiroko and Kenzo Suzuki do in WWE following their feud with John Cena?

In 2004, Hiroko and Kenzo Suzuki joined the Stamford-based promotion under Vince McMahon's creative leadership. The initial plan was for Kenzo to portray an emperor-esque character, which he declined.

The star and his wife could've received a backslash for their home country, which is why they dropped the idea. Later, they were given a new character with the same name and appeared on SmackDown, where he captured the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside René Dupree.

After losing the titles, the two went their separate ways, and Suzuki went after John Cena. Upon losing his feud with the Leader of Cenation, he spent a while on both brands before he and Hiroko were released from WWE in 2005.
