Ex-WWE star recounts getting in trouble for not spanking Torrie Wilson hard enough 

Torrie Wilson is an incredibly popular WWE Diva even today, owing to some of the iconic segments she was part of almost two decades ago. One such moment was discussed recently by her peer and former WWE star, Candice Michelle.

The two women wrestled a couple of times in gimmick matches which are nullified today. They were booked for a 'Bra & Panties Match', which took place at WrestleMania 22. Another time, they competed in a 'Paddle on a Pole Match.'

Michelle recounted Wilson while in conversation with former WWE Superstar René Duprée in the Cafe de Rene podcast. Candice revealed that she got yelled at backstage for not spanking Torrie Wilson harder with the paddle during one of their bouts.

"But I did get yelled at for the Paddle on the Pole match. [Why?] Well, we did it, and obviously, I've never had a paddle that I spank somebody with before. Torrie was my friend. So I win, I get the paddle, she's on all fours and I got to spank her, and I spanked her fun and cute. Then I come through the curtains and they are p**sed off at me that I didn't whack the sh*t out of her. [...] Clearly, I didn't do it right. But I'm happy. I don't want to hurt Torrie," she said.

The former WWE Women's Champion was signed to the sports entertainment giant between July 2004 and June 2009. At the time, women's wrestling was approached in a different manner in the promotion. Despite this, Candice managed to win the division's top title once and held it for 106 days. This also made her the first-ever WWE Diva Search contestant to win the Women's Championship.

Torrie Wilson expresses interest to wrestle Rhea Ripley but fears the WWE star will "kill" her

Torrie Wilson last wrestled in the Women's Royal Rumble Match 2021. Throughout her wrestling career, she never won the Women's Championship. Despite not being an in-ring competitor anymore, Wilson is open to stepping inside the squared circle with Rhea Ripley.

During the K&S Wrestlefest event in late 2023, Wilson admitted that she was obsessed with Mami but was aware that if the two were to ever lock horns, Ripley would "kill" her:

"I think if I could wrestle someone today, I’m a little obsessed with Rhea Ripley, but she’d kill me. But at least it’d be fun," said Wilson.

It remains to be seen if Wilson ever returns for another match in WWE. As for Candice Michelle, she was last seen in July 2019 on the RAW Reunion episode, in which she won the now-defunct 24/7 Championship.
