The Undertaker has amassed a large podcast following over the last few months. Maven, one of The Deadman's former rivals, recently revealed how he was partly responsible for the WWE icon's decision to share stories about his career.
Maven worked for WWE between 2001 and 2005. In 2023, he launched his Maven Huffman YouTube channel and went viral with several videos. The Undertaker recently appeared on the channel, while Maven was a guest on The Phenom's podcast.
In an interview with Rewind Recap Relive, Maven said his videos inspired his 2002 opponent to begin Six Feet Under w/Mark Calaway. Despite his surprise, the 47-year-old, was very honored that someone like The Undertaker had taken inspiration from him to start a new venture.
"He told me that our channel was one of his driving forces to getting started, was one of the things he looked up to, which my pea brain can't fathom, The Undertaker looking up to anything I do, but it was an honor," said Maven. [7:25 – 7:44]

Fans wanted Maven on The Undertaker's podcast
In 2002, Maven produced one of the most shocking moments in WWE history when he eliminated The Deadman from the Royal Rumble. At the time, Maven had recently won the Tough Enough reality show and was trying to make a name for himself on the main roster.
More than two decades on, Maven found out that fans wanted him to reunite with his former on-screen rival, when The Phenom told him that he'd been the most requested guest on his podcast. The former Hardcore Champion hadnt met the legend in almost 15 years, and was happy to share the same space with him once again.
"When I sat down to do his show, the first thing he said was, 'You were the most requested guest,' and I'm like, 'No way. There's no chance. Like, why?' But I hadn't seen him in probably 15 years and it's literally like we just picked up where we left off," said Maven. [11:49 – 12:07]
The feud between the two did not end at the 2002 Royal Rumble. Two weeks later, Maven beat his legendary opponent on the February 7, 2002, episode of SmackDown to win the Hardcore Championship.
