Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently gave his thoughts about the fate of the Wyatt Sicks in the company. The faction debuted on the June 17 episode of RAW.
The spooky faction grabbed headlines after their earth-shattering debut on the red brand, leaving bodies in their path of destruction. After weeks of teases and cryptic hints, the group showed up led by Uncle Howdy.
This week on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the veteran mentioned enjoying their segments on TV but was confused about how it would translate in the ring. He questioned if they would be heels or babyfaces. Mantell even wondered if they would have a gimmick like Bray Wyatt and win matches without using underhanded tactics.
"I'm enjoying watching the Wyatt Sicks. I'm enjoying watching it. But I don't know how it's going to parley itself into a match. First of all, there's five guys already. I don't know how they're gonna incorporate, are they heels, are they babyfaces or are they gonna be like Bray and be in the middle? You see, Bray never cheated to beat somebody. He just beat them. Where is the heat in that?" [From 0:38 - 1:20]
Braun Strowman also spoke about the Wyatt Sicks
During a recent interview with Ten Count Media, WWE star Braun Strowman spoke about his reaction to seeing the Wyatt Sicks. He got emotional while recounting how their appearance evoked some memories.
"It definitely invoked emotions that I haven't felt in a long time. Some good, and some not so good. It's awesome to see them back, it's terrifying as it is. There is a special place in my heart," Strowman said.
Strowman started his career as part of the Wyatt Family under the leadership of Bray Wyatt.
It will be interesting to see if his paths will intertwine with the Wyatt Sicks in the future.
