Former WWE head writer Vince Russo feels fans are not invested in Sheamus' rivalry with Pete Dunne. The two stars battled in a singles match this week on RAW.
Dunne managed to get the better of his former mentor this week on RAW. He fought back hard even after taking a severe beating with the Ten Beats of Bodhran. Pete Dunne went to get a Shillelagh, but Sheamus managed to snatch it from him. With the referee getting involved, Dunne used the opening to hit his opponent with a cricket bat and hit a knee strike for the win.
During this week's edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo questioned if the WWE Universe was interested in this rivalry. He felt nobody cared that the Celtic Warrior lost and would possibly not even bother watching another match between the two Brawling Brutes members to see the veteran get his win back.
"So Pete Dunne beat Sheamus. Do you give one iota about Sheamus getting his revenge back? Do you ever care if Sheamus ever gets Pete Dunne in the ring to get his win back? Who cares about that?" [11:50 onwards]
Things have been heating up between Sheamus and Pete Dunne and the bitter rivalry looks far from over. It will be interesting to see how the two WWE stars finally manage to settle their differences.
