Fans upset as Braun Strowman brags about killing a deer; the WWE star responds to outrage

Braun Strowman is a huge fan favorite in the WWE. The former Universal Champion is out of action due to an injury and recently received outrage from fans for hunting a deer. Strowman has now addressed the situation.

Braun Strowman was last seen on WWE television on the September 30, 2024, edition of RAW, when he locked horns against Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing match. While he emerged victorious with the help of returning Seth Rollins, the 41-year-old superstar tore his groin during the grueling battle.

The Monster Among Men recently went hunting and shared a picture of a deer he hunted. While Strowman clarified some things in the caption, many fans did not like the act, and the former WWE Universal Champion had to face the wrath of the upset audience.

"All the hard work I put in this year on my property paid off tonight. Was blessed to be able to harvest this beautiful buck. This will feed me and my family many organic healthy meals through the next few months," Braun Strowman wrote.

Despite the clarification, fans were divided in the comment section, with some supporting him and others criticizing him. One fan commented that even though he himself eats meat and has no problem with hunting, posting pictures with it is strange.

Braun Strowman breaks silence on injury

On the September 30 edition of Monday Night RAW, Strowman went to war against Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing match. Despite winning the bout, the night didn't end well for him as he tore his groin.

In a recent interview with The Schomo, Braun reacted to his injury and called it an unfortunate accident, but these things happen in the business. Strowman revealed he is in rehab and will be at the Performance Center for better assessment ahead of Crown Jewel 2024.

Braun was out of action for most of 2023 due to a neck injury. He returned earlier this year and was gaining some momentum following his victory over Bronson Reed. It will be interesting to see when Strowman will make his return.
