Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Cora Jade took a dig at fans on social media after she made her shocking comeback to WWE TV on the season premiere of the developmental brand on The CW Network last night. She returned after 263 days of inactivity. The 23-year-old tore her ACL during a match against Lyra Valkyria at a house show on January 12, 2024.
The Sorceress of Sin interfered during the NXT Women's Title Match between reigning champion Roxanne Perez and Giulia. In the closing stages of the hard-hitting contest, The Prodigy grabbed her belt and entered the ring, distracting the referee. As the match official was busy arguing with Perez, Cora Jade appeared in a hoodie and pulled Giulia out of the ring. The NXT star laid out The Beautiful Madness with a Double Underhook DDT.

This allowed Perez to hit Giulia with a Pop Rox and retain the title. After the match, Cora Jade revealed her face by removing the hood. A section of fans were not pleased with Jade spoiling the Japanese star's potential crowning moment.
Later, the WWE Superstar took a brutal shot at her critics on her X (Twitter) account.

Cora Jade reveals why she helped Roxanne Perez and attacked Giulia upon her WWE NXT return
Following her attack on Giulia, Cora Jade addressed her actions in a backstage interview. The Sorceress of Sin said that the world was ''so hypnotized'' by Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer that she wanted to remind everyone about the savior of the women's division.
''The whole world is so hypnotized by the debut of Giulia and the hype around Stephanie [Vaquer] that they forgot about the savior of the women's division, Cora Jade!'' she said.
Perez interrupted Jade and asked, ''What the hell was that?'' The former WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Champion replied that despite their history, she liked the woman The Prodigy had become. Roxanne then teased a reunion, stating that ''maybe a common enemy will bring us together!''
It will be interesting to see how things unfold on WWE NXT in the coming weeks.
