Female ex-WWE star files for divorce from husband after 10 years of marriage

A former WWE Superstar has filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years. The star, Eva Marie, got hitched to her husband, Jonathan Coyle, in October 2014.

Eva Marie had two stints with World Wrestling Entertainment, from 2013 to 2017 and 2020 to 2021. She was also a major attraction on the hit reality show Total Divas.

According to TMZ, Eva Marie filed for divorce from her husband earlier this month. The papers state that the couple married on October 20, 2014. Coyle is a fitness coach, model, actor, and business co-owner. The filing also stated that the duo separated last year due to "irreconcilable differences."

Last year, Marie shared a video on her official YouTube channel in which she discussed a potential return to the Stamford-based promotion.

Here's what she had to say:

"The talks of me coming back to WWE, it's one of those things where, I know you guys want a yes or no answer, the truth is, it's maybe. We have an ongoing relationship. I was just in talks with WWE Studios, talking about ideas and movies and TV. Obviously, that door is always open of potentially coming back. Who knows, Eva Marie could come back as a dark persona, dye my hair back to black. You never know... dry answer, it's a maybe," Eva said. [H/T Fightful]

Only time will tell if Marie returns for one more run, this time under a full-fledged Triple H-run regime. Her fans would love to see her have one last stint on the main roster somewhere down the line.
