Female star declared "future of professional wrestling" by Booker T is accused of domestic violence; disturbing photos of physical abuse shared

A female star who once received massive praise from Booker T has been accused of domestic abuse. The star, Promise Braxton, was accused of abuse by her partner Zy Gold.

Promise Braxton has been a mainstay on the independent scene for a while now. She's also made appearances for Tony Khan's AEW in the past, wrestling on AEW Dark.

Braxton's partner Zy Gold recently put up a tweet accusing her of domestic abuse. She shared several screengrabs of her chats with Braxton in which the latter can be seen sending profane messages to her. She also shared a collage of pictures that allege she suffered bodily harm at the hands of Braxton. Head over to this tweet to see the images. Please be aware, though, as the pictures are disturbing in nature.

"My ex wife @promise_braxton told me if I ever posted about the things she’s done to me, no one would care. I’m posting it anyways."

In a following tweet, Gold clarified that Braxton is her "soon-to-be ex-wife" as the divorce has yet to be finalized.

Promise Braxton has been working for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling promotion for quite some time now. The WWE Hall of Famer called her the future of pro wrestling a few weeks ago.

"These two ladies are the future of professional wrestling…. Remember Their Names!!!"

Zy Gold also shared the pictures on her official Instagram handle, tagging Braxton. Booker hasn't commented on the accusations yet but things aren't looking good for Braxton and she will likely face serious repercussions now that the screengrabs are out for everyone to see. Zy Gold has received massive support from fans on X/Twitter and Instagram since sharing the screengrabs of her chats with Braxton.
