One of the most iconic moves of Rikishi's career is the Stinkface, which is not a finisher, but a popular signature. A female legend recently shared the truth about being on the receiving end of the maneuver early in her career.

Before Trish Stratus became one of the greatest female WWE Superstars of all time, she served as a valet for Test and Albert. Three months into her television debut, she was put in a segment wherein Rikishi used the Stinkface on her.

Speaking to Inside The Ropes earlier this year, Stratus opened up about what she felt when management told her what was going to happen. She didn't turn it down because she was not backing down from a challenge and Rikishi was going to take care of her.

"You know what? He was pretty good about it. I just got the surface. … ‘Heck, yeah! This is going to be so exciting. I have no carrots in my teeth.’ (Sarcastic) ... I was up for anything. I would've even if I didn't want. If I was like, ‘Oh, man. I do not want this to happen,’ but I'm like, ‘I'm up for everything,'" Stratus said. [0:50 - 1:15]

After working as a valet for over a year, Trish Stratus became an in-ring performer and full-pledged WWE Superstar. Stratus would end up winning the Women's Championship seven times, cementing herself as one of the greatest ever.

Trish Stratus on working with Vince McMahon and Triple H early in her WWE career

As mentioned earlier, Trish Stratus served as a manager before transitioning into a wrestler. But before she turned into one of the GOATs of women's wrestling, Stratus was put in a storyline with Vince McMahon and Triple H.

In the same interview with Inside the Ropes, Stratus shared what it was like to work with some of the biggest names in wrestling early in her career. It led to some memorable backstage segments that are still talked about to this day.

"I was working with the tops, right? I was working alongside Vince and Triple H and all these people, so like, you can't suck, you know? Don't go to work and suck today because you're with the boss and you're with like these top people. It made me bring my very best," Stratus said. [2:27 - 2:43 in the video above]

Stratus initially retired in 2006 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. She would make sporadic appearances over the years and even wrestled on occassions. She made her full-time return in mid-2022 that culminated in a Steel Cage match against Becky Lynch at Payback 2023.
