Former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee recently took to social media to send a message amid rumors of her return to the Stamford-based promotion.
Lee joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2009 and started performing for the company's then developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). The 37-year-old jumped ship to the main roster in 2011, quickly became famous for her on-screen character, and made a huge name by winning the Divas Championship thrice. Her last match came at the RAW after WrestleMania 31, following which she announced her retirement from in-ring competition.
Since AJ Lee's real-life husband, CM Punk, has returned to the Stamford-based promotion, many fans believe Lee might appear on WWE television soon. Several people think the former Divas Champion might finally return at the upcoming Money in the Bank premium live event to cost Drew McIntyre the Men's Ladder Match because McIntyre brutally injured The Second City Saint.
He also took a bracelet off Punk's wrist, which had the names of AJ and their dog, Larry, upping the stakes in the feud.

Amid these rumors, AJ Lee took to X/Twitter to send a message. The 37-year-old wrote that she should be allowed to fight in the streets if someone's fireworks scared her dog, Larry.
"Not to sound unreasonable but if your fireworks scare my dog I should be allowed to fight you in the streets," she wrote.

CM Punk said he would love to see his wife AJ Lee return to WWE
During an edition of The MMA Hour, CM Punk said that AJ Lee probably would not return to professional wrestling but believed there was an open door for her comeback.
Punk also said he would love to see his wife back in World Wrestling Entertainment because he is her biggest fan.
"Probably not. I think there is [an open door]. Selfishly, I would love it. I'm her biggest fan. So, I love everything she does."
The WWE Universe would undoubtedly go crazy if AJ Lee showed up at the Money in the Bank premium live event in Canada. It will be interesting to see whether the 3-time Divas Champion returns in 2024, given Drew McIntyre's constant jabs at Punk's family.
