Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about Finn Balor's chances of winning the World Heavyweight Championship. The star will contest for the title at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Balor and the rest of Judgment Day wreaked havoc on RAW this week. The group attacked Gunther and also laid out Damian Priest. Balor hit a trifecta of Coups de Grace on Priest, sending a strong message to both competitors.
During the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, Russo cast doubt on Balor's ability to win matches. He mentioned that despite Finn's tough attitude and mean looks, he couldn't get the job done in the ring. The former writer felt Balor lacked credibility as a strong competitor.
"I guess they're trying to build Gunther, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest. Maybe some people disagree with me, I don't think Finn Balor can beat anybody. Finn to me is in that Sami Zayn category. He can snarl all he wants to, give me all the mean faces he wants. I don't believe Balor can beat anybody." [24:10 onwards]

Due to Finn's actions this week, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce was forced to make changes to the World Heavyweight Championship match at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Pearce informed Balor that the match would now be a Triple Threat involving him, the champion Gunther, and Damian Priest.
