WWE Superstar Finn Balor revealed a new nickname for himself ahead of tomorrow night's edition of RAW. This week's episode of the red brand will be the first show following Saturday Night's Main Event.
Gunther defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor and Damian Priest at Saturday Night's Main Event. The bout was originally supposed to be between The Ring General and Balor, but The Archer of Infamy was added ahead of the show to make it a Triple Threat contest.
At the NBC special show last night, The Ring General retained his title by hitting Balor with a Powerbomb. The Judgment Day member took to Instagram today to reveal a new nickname ahead of RAW, which you can check out in his Instagram post below.
"FNBLR," he wrote.
Balor and JD McDonagh captured the World Tag Team Championship in June thanks to interference by Liv Morgan. The Judgment Day is set to defend the titles tomorrow night on RAW against The War Raiders.
Dr. Chris Featherstone comments on Finn Balor's canceled plans at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event
Wrestling veteran Dr. Chris Featherstone recently discussed the company's original plans for Finn Balor at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted show, Featherstone noted that the original World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Balor was not "marquee enough." Featherstone added that the original bout would have been two heels competing for the title.
"I think that it wasn't marquee enough. Plus you had two heels fighting [...] I did think that there was gonna be eventually a Triple Threat, but I am actually glad that they put that on Saturday Night's Main Event because it makes, it looks better billboard-wise. As far as Finn Balor and Gunther are concerned, Balor can play spoiler, with his size and things like that." [21:48 onwards]

Balor betrayed Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam earlier this year and cost him the World Heavyweight Championship during his match against Gunther at the premium live event. It will be fascinating to see what the promotion has planned for the former Universal Champion following his loss at Saturday Night's Main Event.
